Accuracy: Better than 0.5 deg. from 65 to 290 deg.
The pulses from the AZ (and EL) actuators are for computer control of antenna position using the VK3UM modem/program. The F1EHN tracking board with VE1ALQ Encoder Interface board (which converts the serial pulse from a Linear Actuator to 16bit wide Data) can also be used.
The mast tube is resting at the bottom on a roller bearing found at an automobile scrap yard.
